Crow’s Feet

Crow’s feet, the fine lines radiating from the outer corners of the eyes, are among the earliest and most visible signs of facial ageing. They appear as a result of repetitive muscle movement (smiling, squinting, laughter) combined with collagen decline and sun exposure. While they can represent expression and warmth, they can also contribute to a tired or aged appearance. At Haus of Ästhetik, we use advanced neuromodulator and regenerative treatments to smooth and refresh this delicate area, while preserving natural expression and personality.

Overview

Crow’s feet, the fine lines radiating from the outer corners of the eyes, are among the earliest and most visible signs of facial ageing. They appear as a result of repetitive muscle movement (smiling, squinting, laughter) combined with collagen decline and sun exposure. While they can represent expression and warmth, they can also contribute to a tired or aged appearance. At Haus of Ästhetik, we use advanced neuromodulator and regenerative treatments to smooth and refresh this delicate area, while preserving natural expression and personality.

  • Everyone develops crow’s feet eventually, though they tend to appear from the late twenties onwards. Individuals with fair skin or high sun exposure may notice them sooner. Lifestyle, skincare habits, and muscle strength around the eyes all influence onset and severity.

  • Fine lines that radiate from the corners of the eyes, initially appearing only with facial movement and later visible at rest. They can be static (present without movement) or dynamic (visible only when smiling). Associated symptoms can include skin laxity, volume loss in the upper cheek, and a hollowed appearance around the eye socket.

  • There is no specific NICE guideline directed at lateral canthal lines (crow’s feet). The BNF covers botulinum toxin generally for approved indications, but does not advise specifically for crow’s-feet treatment (this remains practice-based, off-label or based on device SPCs).

  • At Haus of Ästhetik, we combine aesthetic artistry with clinical rigour, drawing from Teoxane’s regenerative science and mesoestetic’s medical-grade formulations.

    1. Botulinum Toxin (Anti-Wrinkle Injections)

    • Targeted microinjections of botulinum toxin relax the orbicularis oculi muscle, softening crow’s feet while maintaining natural movement.

    • This remains the NICE-recognised gold standard for dynamic lines.

    • We use precise dosing aligned with MHRA and BNF guidance for licensed POM use.

    2. Skin Rejuvenation and Peels

    • mesoestetic chemical peels, particularly the mesopeel periocular and mesopeel mandelic formulations, gently exfoliate and stimulate collagen renewal.

    • Improves skin texture, hydration, and brightness around the eyes.

    3. Teoxane RHA Dermal Fillers

    • RHA 1 and RHA 2 (Resilient Hyaluronic Acid) offer structural support and elasticity to the periorbital skin, ideal for fine lines and volume restoration.

    • Clinically designed to move with dynamic facial expression while maintaining hydration.

    4. LED Light Therapy and Mesoestetic Blemiderm LED Support

    • Enhances cell turnover and collagen synthesis.

    • Works synergistically with toxin and filler treatments to prolong results.

  • Suitability is assessed during a full consultation and medical screening, including history of neuromuscular disorders, medication review, and allergy checks. Treatments are contraindicated in pregnancy, breastfeeding, certain neurological conditions, and active skin infections. All botulinum toxin treatments are prescribed following an in-person or video consultation in line with MHRA and CQC expectations.

  • After toxin treatments, results become visible within 3–10 days and last approximately 3–4 months. Teoxane filler treatments typically last 6–12 months, depending on individual metabolism. Chemical peels and LED therapies deliver gradual textural improvement and radiance over several weeks. Our focus is refreshed, natural expression—never the “frozen” look.

    • Avoid rubbing or applying pressure around the eyes for 24 hours post-injection.

    • No strenuous exercise, heat exposure, or facials for 48 hours.

    • Maintain hydration, sun protection, and daily use of Teoxane’s R[II] Eyes or mesoestetic’s Energy C Eye Contour to enhance and extend results.

    • Regular review appointments ensure dosage and techniques remain precisely tailored.

  • Book a consultation at Haus of Ästhetik for a full facial assessment. We will examine muscle movement, skin elasticity, and volume distribution to build a treatment plan that fits your natural anatomy. Following CQC Regulation 12 on Safe Care and Treatment, all POM treatments are carried out under the oversight of a qualified prescriber, ensuring medical accuracy, informed consent, and realistic outcomes. You will leave with a personalised treatment plan, aftercare instructions, and the option to schedule future review sessions.
