New Client Consultation and Cooling-Off Period

As a Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulated healthcare provider, Haus of Ästhetik follows a structured consultation and treatment planning process to ensure safe and clinically appropriate care. All new patients must attend a comprehensive clinical consultation before any treatment is undertaken. This allows the clinician to review medical history, assess suitability, discuss treatment goals, and determine whether the requested treatment is appropriate.

Following the consultation, a minimum 24-hour cooling-off period may apply to certain treatments. This provides patients with time to consider the information given and make an informed decision before proceeding with treatment. Where appropriate, the clinician will use this period to finalise the patient’s individual treatment plan and arrange the prescription or procurement of any medicines or medical products required. To maintain product quality and medicines safety, many clinical products are ordered specifically for confirmed treatment plans rather than held in large quantities. This ensures products remain within optimal storage and manufacturing timelines.

Patient Suitability

As part of our professional duty of care, the clinician will also consider the psychological and decision-making suitability of patients requesting treatment. Where additional reflection time or further consultation is considered beneficial, treatment may be deferred beyond the standard cooling-off period. In some circumstances, treatment may be declined if it is not considered to be in the patient’s best clinical interests.
