Facial Contouring

Facial contouring is the art and science of sculpting the face to restore balance, symmetry, and youthful structure. As we age, bone resorption, fat redistribution, and collagen loss soften natural definition. The jawline blurs, the cheeks flatten, and light no longer reflects as evenly across the face.

At Haus of Ästhetik, facial contouring is approached anatomically and artistically, enhancing what’s already there, not changing who you are. We use advanced dermal fillers and bio-regenerative techniques to redefine structure while maintaining natural movement and proportion.

Overview

Facial contouring is the art and science of sculpting the face to restore balance, symmetry, and youthful structure. As we age, bone resorption, fat redistribution, and collagen loss soften natural definition. The jawline blurs, the cheeks flatten, and light no longer reflects as evenly across the face.

At Haus of Ästhetik, facial contouring is approached anatomically and artistically, enhancing what’s already there, not changing who you are. We use advanced dermal fillers and bio-regenerative techniques to redefine structure while maintaining natural movement and proportion.

    • Age-related volume loss: fat pads shrink and descend, causing flattening and shadowing.

    • Bone resorption: jaw, chin, and mid-face bone structure recede over time.

    • Collagen decline: reduces skin density and elasticity, softening facial definition.

    • Lifestyle factors: smoking, dehydration, and sun exposure accelerate laxity.

    • Genetics: some people naturally have softer bone contours or asymmetry.

The goal of facial contouring is to re-establish lift and harmony by strategically rebuilding the mid-face, jawline, and chin using products tailored to each tissue plane.

    • Loss of cheek and jawline definition

    • Flattened mid-face or hollow temples

    • Weak chin projection or jowl formation

    • Asymmetry between left and right facial structures

    • A “tired” or heavy lower-face appearance

  • No NICE guideline targets non-surgical facial contouring. The BNF does not supply filler-specific guidance for aesthetic facial structure correction; filler use is governed by device regulation and clinician training.

  • 1. Teoxane RHA 4 and Ultra Deep Fillers

    • Engineered for sculptural contouring of cheeks, chin, and jawline.

    • High G′ (elastic modulus) provides lift and structure while maintaining flexibility.

    • Ideal for shaping and restoring definition with natural movement.

    2. Mesoestetic Nexha Fillers (20–25 mg/ml HA with Succinic Acid)

    • Hyaluronic acid restores volume and contour.

    • Succinic acid stimulates fibroblast activity and collagen synthesis while reducing oxidative stress.

    • Unlike traditional fillers, Nexha actively improves skin quality, radiance, and firmness in addition to structural support.

    • Particularly suited for patients seeking regenerative enhancement rather than high-volume augmentation.

    3. Chin and Jawline Contouring Techniques

    • Precise filler placement along the mandibular angle, prejowl sulcus, and chin for refined shape.

    • Enhances facial proportions and creates a defined transition between face and neck.

    4. Collagen-Stimulating Therapies (e.g. Polynucleotides or Sculptra®)

    • Trigger fibroblast activity for gradual improvement in contour and elasticity.

    • Ideal for long-term structural reinforcement when combined with HA-based lifting.

    5. mesoestetic Age Element Firming and Post-Procedure Support

    • Clinical-grade peels and peptide formulas improve skin density and tone post-contouring.

    • mesoestetic Anti-Stress Mask and Fast Skin Repair maintain skin integrity during recovery.

All injectable procedures are carried out under medical supervision and adhere to MHRA, BNF, and CQC Regulation 12 standards, including product traceability, emergency reversal readiness, and informed consent.

  • Suitability is confirmed through a detailed consultation and 3D facial analysis assessing bone structure, symmetry, soft-tissue balance, and patient goals.

Contraindications include pregnancy, breastfeeding, active infection, and autoimmune or vascular conditions.

All treatment plans are bespoke, with dosage and product selection based on facial anatomy, gender, and aesthetic outcome.

    • Immediate: refined facial shape, improved lift, and symmetry.

    • Progressive: ongoing collagen stimulation and improved dermal quality from Nexha’s succinic acid.

    • Longevity: 12–18 months for Teoxane or Nexha fillers; up to 24 months with collagen-stimulating treatments.Patients typically notice improved facial proportion, sharper definition, and a naturally lifted look that complements their features rather than changing them.

    • Avoid alcohol, heat exposure, and exercise for 48 hours.

    • Refrain from applying pressure to treated areas for one week.

    • Maintain hydration and use SPF 30+ daily.

    • Follow post-procedure skincare recommendations (mesoestetic or Teoxane recovery range).

    • Schedule review appointments every 9–12 months for reassessment and maintenance.

  • Book a Facial Contouring Consultation at Haus of Ästhetik to receive a bespoke facial analysis. We assess skeletal structure, fat distribution, and skin elasticity to create a treatment plan tailored to your goals.

All procedures are performed by medically qualified practitioners under CQC Regulation 12: Safe Care and Treatment, with full documentation, product traceability, and aftercare protocols.

You’ll receive a clear outline of expected results, follow-up options, and a maintenance plan to preserve your refined contours with lasting confidence.
